“Konnichiwa” says H&M with Spring/summer 2018 collection in Japan. In the land of sushi, anime and sakura trees and the H&M Studio, most beautiful season collection bloomed.

H&M Studio’s fifth annual runway show did bring fashion’s finest work of art together to enjoy the beautiful things. Land of rising sun, H&M Studio bought strong and persistent colors. Simple, relaxed yet chick dresses but worn with sandals. Prints and flared trousers were also among the collection.

Escaping the cold arctic winds  Having spent a night at the H&M House – better known as Hôtel National Des Arts et Métiers – guests arrived at the west wing of the world’s most famous museum, The Louvre, for a dinner and full presentation of the hotly anticipated collection.

Escaping the cold arctic wind, the collection was all about minimalism and bohemia.Inspired by origami, folklore, and art of Japan with a little touch of urban nature of Tokyo. The show showcases everything that inspired the designers taken from Japan – kimono dresses, warp tunic and of course vibrant color prints.

Traditional Japanese tatami room is another the core inspiration of the H&M collection yet nodes yes to other current trends. Most prominent of the current trends are workwear tailoring, oversized knits, and A-line shapes
